“ Came here for lunch with a friend on a Tuesday! I was kindly seated as I waited for her to show. The waitstaff was very kind and attentive, checking in frequently. The meal started with a serving of bread and butter which was a pleasant suprise. Preceeded to order the: - CHARRED OCTOPUS roasted cauliflower, new potatoes, scallions, chorizo, roasted red pepper sauce - STROZZAPRETI elongated, cavatelli-like pasta, sausage, broccoli rabe, garlic, chili flakes, pecorino romano, evoo Both dishes were absolutely delicious! The octopus was tender and the pasta was cooked to an al dente perfection. This was a great lunch spot and would probably be a great option for dinner! It's pretty spacious and open. Wasn't too busy for a weekday lunch, but I can imagine the place is probably hopping on the weekend/weeknights! For my first visit, this was definitely a high quality meal. Looking forward to trying more of the menu next time! ”

“ Came here with the family to celebrate a birthday. Made a reservation for 11am and was able to walk right in. For some reason, another large party of the same size (but without a reso) was sat before us, but whatever. We were placed in the upstairs area, which I prefer, as it's more quiet and we had two highchair-ers with us. Lol! The server immediately introduced himself and then we were brought bread and water, but didn't see him for a while after. In fact, so much time passed that a different server wound up taking the order and placing it. Then, a good good 5-8min after that, the original server returned asking if we were ready. Confusing, but the one that took our order did it perfectly and we were satisfied. As a group we tried a bunch of different dishes: The Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, Avocado Toast with egg added, regular calzone, Breakfast Calzone, Smoked Salmon Tots and Chicken & Waffle, and the kids chicken tender with fries entrees. For drinks, we had coffee, sangria, and hot chocolate. Everything was great! We enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back because it's one of my mom's favorite places. ”

“ I have been to this location a few times including lunch and dinner and it doesn't disappoint. The steak sandwich for lunch is flavorful and you can pair it with a salad of your choice. Woodstock is good for small or large groups and their staff is very nice and attentive - you definitely will not be disappointed! ”

“ Stopped in for an early lunch on friday and it wasnt busy at all. I really loved the high ceilings and that there were 2 levels for seating. We ordered the insalata romana and 2 pies. They also gave us fresh bread! Everything we ordered was delicious. Id definitely return to try more items on the menu! ”

“ The food here is extremely delicious! For our appetizer we had the burrata which was very tasty along with their homemade bread. For entrees we ordered the grammas pizza, mushroom pizza and pasta. All were very good! For dessert we tried a couple of options. The cookies were delicious, fresh and warm! They asked if I wanted milk and they were able to bring me out chocolate milk. Very kind staff and great place to eat at! ”

“ I love Woodstack. One of my favorite restaurants in the area. Been coming here for a few years. I love that they have their own private parking lot- especially in downtown Metuchen where it's mostly metered parking. My go to order is always the wings to start. And a pepper big pizza and a pitcher of the white sangria ( very strong , drink with caution ! ) The service is always great and the ambiance is cozy cabin vibes. ”

There's is a little something for everyone. They have healthy options and more decadent options as well. I got the wings and they were very tasty. The complimentary bread was also tasty. I love that they have house made pasta and house made bread and they were very tasty. Service was wonderful as well. Our waitress brought us extra drawing pages my toddler and it was very appreciated. ”
